- Kevin Durant had 37 points and 23 rebounds for texas last night and outscored texas tech all by himself in the 2nd half – 24-22. (I know, not VT related, but frankly, our game was depressing)
- VT shot just 35% from the field, our worst output since the marshall game.
- VT had just 5 turnovers for the entire game. Although this looks good, I think it is bad because we weren’t aggressive enough last night at taking the ball to the basket or trying to get easy points on the break by using our speed.
- The Hokies were outrebounded 42-29 (or 36-27 depending on your source). I guess when you throw up as many bricks as we did, the other team is going to get a lot of rebounds (they had 32 defensive rebounds).
- VT held nc state to 10 offensive rebounds, and gathered 12 themselves (see #4 for why we got 12).
