According to today’s edition of the Winchester Star, Millbrook standout junior Erick Green (player profile)Â announced his verbal commitment to Virginia Tech last night before the Pioneers’ 64-46 win over Handley.
Green is a 6-2 guard averaging 19.5 points per game. The Pioneers are 16-1 overall this season and undefeated (9-0) in the Northwestern District. The talented guard picked the Hokies over jmu, gmu, and st. joseph’s and is likely to enroll at Tech for the 2009-2010 season.
