Hola, all you foreign TechHoops.com fans! If you are a regular, or even semi-regular, reader of TechHoops.com and you’re living/stationed/studying abroad, please contact me at niemo@techhoops.com. There’s one reader in particular I’d love to hear from (think yellow, green, and red), but I’ll leave it up to them to contact me.
I just wanted to hear how you found out about our site and what your connection is to Virginia Tech. I may do a story on it if it is interesting enough and the people that contact me don’t mind. But even if you don’t want to be written up, I’d still like to hear from you.
And yes, we love all you US-based readers, too. But let’s face it, you just aren’t that special… just kidding.Â

Niemo is a member of the VT Class of '98. Graduated as a Commonwealth Scholar from the Pamplin School of Business. Majored in Management Science & Information Technology.
Attended every home basketball game during his 4 years at VT after missing the first home game. Has attended 103 straight VT football home games (every game since '94), with #100 was the miami game this past September.
During the final home basketball game of his senior year, he was brought onto the court and was awarded 2 passes to the Atlantic 10 Basketball Tournament in Philly during a timeout. The Hokie Bird made the award on behalf of Athletic Director Jim Weaver.
Niemo was known to be in the front row of every home game with his familiar red afro hairdo.
Niemo currently lives in NOVA and speaks the Hokie gospel as often as possible.
