Deron Washington To Compete in Slam Dunk Contest

Deron Washington isn’t done just yet. He will suit up in his Virginia Tech uniform one more time after being chosen to compete in the 20th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships. The event will take place this Thursday, April 3, at the Greehey Arena at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and will be televised by ESPN at 9 p.m. EDT. will have highlights of Deron’s dunks.

    Deron’s first dunk was a little weak for a dunk contest – impressive with the tap off the glass first, but the judges didn’t really see it.
