Recruiting | Erick Green to Transfer High Schools

According to the NV Daily, 2009 VT Verbal Erick Green is transferring to Paul VI High School in Fairfax, VA for his senior season.  PVI is a private Catholic school.  Erick won the Virginia AA State Championship with Millbrook this past season.

Niemo is a member of the VT Class of '98. Graduated as a Commonwealth Scholar from the Pamplin School of Business. Majored in Management Science & Information Technology. Attended every home basketball game during his 4 years at VT after missing the first home game. Has attended 116 straight VT football home games (every game since '94), eclipsing the 100 mark in September of '09. During the final home basketball game of his senior year, he was brought onto the court and was awarded 2 passes to the Atlantic 10 Basketball Tournament in Philly during a timeout. The Hokie Bird made the award on behalf of Athletic Director Jim Weaver. Niemo was known to be in the front row of every home game with his familiar red afro hairdo. Niemo currently lives in DC and speaks the Hokie gospel as often as possible.

    Get that kid a few McDonalds double cheeburgers with honey mustard dipping sauce. DC/NOVA is replacing NYC as a basketball mecca.

    John Wall, the kid he went head to head with is going to Baylor according to CBSsportsline. Baylor and VT are very similiar. Both building quality programs after being irrelevent.

    Hokie Hoops tip off event in Richmond is Oct. 14th at Toad’s Place.

    I think this is a great move for Green and will help prepare him for the kind of talent he’ll see in the ACC next year and the year after.
