Plus, it would have been another marque win for our program, and gotten us to our first ACC Championship Game ever. A chance to play for the ACC crown would be pretty special. The xavier game didn't have that level of appeal. It would have only gotten us to the O'Reilly Championship Game. Plus, that game didn't make or break our tourney chances. We go 10-6 in ACC play with 2+ big wins, we are in. Similarly, even if we had won that game, and then went 7-9 in ACC play or worse, we'd be out. I know that if we beat UNC we may have gone to the tourney but Xavier loss will cost us the NCAA this year and me and the wife were there.
