The Hokie Share web site is not confusing... it only costs $4 to transfer two tickets (it does not cost $4 per ticket)... the fee can be paid by the season ticket holder or the receipient, **but the transaction must be initiated by the season ticket holder.** If you are not a season ticket holder, you can only use Hokie Share if the tickets are transferred to you by a season ticketholder.

I've transfered four pairs of my season tickets (to the weekday games that I cannot attend, with the exception of the UNC game) to students in the Center for Public Administration and Policy (CPAP) at http://www.cpap.vt.edu, the place whereI got my graduate degree. I want to give back to CPAP because it game a lot to me.

I'd like to see the athletic department issue a much different policy... if season ticketholders cannot be there, their seats should be released to students... game time decision from the athletic director. There is no team we can't beat when the Cassell is packed with students.

Also, the athletic department should sell packages of tickets... weekend games should cost more than weekday games... the goal should be to fill the seats.

By the way, there are several VT/UVA basketball tickets for face value or below on Ebay today.
