Raisin – I agree on the trap game. Seth even talked about penn state more last night than he did vmi (well, at least as much). And even if VT does prevail, they might be worn down for Saturday, though 72 hours off should be enough.

HipHop – I like your score for vmi. I don’t think they break 80 against VT since Seth won’t let VT get them sucked into vmi’s style (unless he runs out of timeouts in the first half like at campbell). I actually think VT surpasses 90 in this. Heck, richmond got 103 and they play even more of a half court style than VT.

FYI: VT didn’t surpass 90 in regulation at all last year (reached it twice in OT). They did hit 90 against ga tech and morgan state back in late 2008.

Fred Willard? That’s adequately shocking. I can’t imagine him in any sort of military environment.

This game seems like a real trap game to me with players possibly looking ahead to Penn State. I hope the Hokies really take care of the basketball and get back for their defensive assignments.

I don’t like this game. Playing against an insane VMI team that scores 95 a game and GIVES UP 98 a game is just going to be ridiculous. Given that we haven’t played VMI since 04-05… when VMI BEAT the Hokies… and the fact that VMI had a great year last year and is looking to build on that, this one could be trouble.

We ALL know that the Keydets don’t play any defense at all… but will we make our shots? Will WE play that same silly way, or will we actually play defense and hold them down where they belong… in the 70-80 point range? Guess we’ll find out Wednesday night.

My guess? VT 87 – VMI 77
