Malcolm Delaney is one of 72 candidates for the 2010 Bob Cousy Award. The award is presented annually to the top point guard in the NCAA, including Divisions I, II, and III.
The list of candidates gets trimmed to 20 by the new year and is then cut in half each subsequent month. The winner will be announced on Monday, April 5th in Indianapolis as part of NCAA Final Four weekend.
The award is named for Bob Cousy, the flashy point guard of the Boston Celtics during their dynasty in the late ’50s and early ’60s.
Ty Lawson won the award last year. There have been six winners in all.
