Tonight’s Game vs. csu Will Be Played; Admission is Free

As we all know, the mother of all snow storms hit Southwest Virginia hard yesterday and today. A 25-mile section of Interstate 81, mile markers 105-130, has been shut down and is essentially a parking lot. Despite this, tonight’s mens basketball game between the Virginia Tech Hokies and the visiting charleston southern bucs will be played at 7 p.m. as schedule.

A statement posted on HokieSports.com read, “Fans who feel they can make it safely, in the weather conditions, to Cassell Coliseum will be allowed to enter the game for free without a ticket.”

If you plan on trying to go to the game, the staff here at TechHoops.com urge you to be extremely cautious and reminds you that there’s no shame in staying home, drinking bourbon and dreaming of being arm curled by Niemo while listening to Bill Roth describe the carnage the will likely ensue.

Carry on…
