In the Hokiesports.com Notes for the game Saturday, this starting lineup was posted for the Hokies:
- G – Erick Green – Jr. (so maybe he is playing)
- G – Dorenzo Hudson – r-Sr
- F – Jarell Eddie – So
- F – Dorian Finney-Smith – Fr
- C – Victor Davila – Sr
Both Eddie and Finney-Smith are small forwards in terms of bulk. But against a team like east tennessee state, the Hokies can afford to go thin. And considering the full court press the Hokies will likely see, going more athletic is better anyway.
We’ll see if Erick Green does in fact play. It sounded very unlikely when the injury occurred last weekend, but he must be a quick healer… or VT is keeping things under their hat.
