Nice highlights! Thanks for taking the time to put them together for those of us who couldn’t watch the game. It was very encouraging to see the guys passing the ball so well yesterday. Hope it continues.

Awesome highlights as usual Niemo. Can I ask why it’s always “throw out the records”? Just jokin on announcers? Or is it cause we aren’t in ACC play yet?

    • Niemo says:

Throw out the records has been a joke between my buddies and me for years because announcers always say it when the game is a bad match-up. It is like they think that will peak your interest… “duke versus east popcorn state? Ugh, this game is gonna stink… No, wait, they are throwing out the records! Now it is an even battle! Now I’ll watch!” I’ll often say to a buddy before a MAC or Sun Belt Tuesday night football game, “Have you thrown out the records yet???” I’ll keep building on this joke as the season goes on, if for no other reason than it makes me laugh.

Great highlights! Thanks Niemo. You also hear “throw out the records” in football rivalries. And you’ll notice they never have any back up support to show that records aren’t an accurate indicator of who whill win. I haven’t done a detailed analysis but I believe you would find that the vast majority of the time the favored team wins as is the case with any matchup. That statement is ludicrous. Funny!

  4. Martin says:

Ah, Ok. That’s what I was thinking.. Good stuff
