Niemo is a member of the VT Class of '98.
Attended every home basketball game during his 4 years at VT after missing the first home game. Has attended 122 straight VT football home games (every game since '94), eclipsing the 100 mark in September of '09.
During the final home basketball game of his senior year, he was brought onto the court and was awarded 2 passes to the Atlantic 10 Basketball Tournament in Philly during a timeout. The Hokie Bird made the award on behalf of Athletic Director Jim Weaver.
Niemo was known to be in the front row of every home game with his familiar red afro hairdo.
Niemo currently lives in DC and speaks the Hokie gospel as often as possible. He watches over 50% of all ACC games, making him one of the most knowledgeable experts on ACC basketball.
Great job. Are you trying to tell us (or Seth) something with the Raines plays? Get Raines the ball inside and good things happen. He has grown up this year and should be a monster inside next year if we get him the ball. Would have liked to have seen the screen again that Raines set on the Duke player in overtime….did he ever find out what hit him?

Agreed, that screen on Thornton was awesome. Check out Raines’ profile pic on twitter. Its him standing over thornton with a split screen of that famous muhammad ali photo…

Good compilation, niemo. Move that Zo shot against UVa up the list, though!

It wasn’t at the ‘end’ of the game, and we were already ahead. That’s what cost it points on the NBI – Niemo BRAHHH Index.

Excellent Niemo! No, Bristolhokie, what I think Niemo is doing with the CR complilation is commending Seth on developing this 3-star big man. And these clips don’t even show some of the fancy footwork CR gave us late in the season. Bbrrrraa! (did I spell that right?)
Niemo
It’s Brrrrrahhhhh!
