Triple H: Hokies Host hawkeyes… in ACC/Big(12)Ten Challenge

It was announced that Virginia Tech will host the iowa hawkeyes on Tuesday, November 27th in the ACC/Big(12)Ten Challenge.  This is good news if you like wins — Tech is 2-0 in the Challenge against the hawkeyes while 0-5 against everyone else.  Yep, VT is just 2-5 in the history of the Challenge.  This is odd that Tech is playing iowa for the 3rd time when they haven’t played anyone else more than once (ohio state, penn state, wisconsin, purdue, and minnesota — all losses).

Hey Niemo, according to Hargrave coach AW Williams, Montrezl still hasn’t been granted his release from Tech. Is there any reason why he hasn’t been granted his release??

    I have to say it…

    Again? Seriously?

I was hoping we would play Michigan since they are scheduled to play a road game in this years challenge, but since DFS transferred and if we let Montrezl leave, then we would stand no chance. That being said, I think the game with Iowa will be entertaining and evenly matched.
