As you’d expect, another huge game from Erick Green in plus/minus.  Tech was +8 when he was in during the first half, -12 when he wasn’t.  With him playing almost all of the second half, you saw the results — Tech came back and won.  He netted a career high 28 points while playing just 26 minutes today (he had 20 points just 3-1/2 minutes into the second half and he had sat half the first half).

Solid games from Brown and Raines, too.  Barksdale took a step backwards today after a great last few games.

The Hokie Bird made the award on behalf of Athletic Director Jim Weaver. Niemo was known to be in the front row of every home game with his familiar red afro hairdo.

Green for ACC Player of the Week!

That’s probably a safe bet. He’s averaging 25 ppg and beat the No. 15 team in the country.

Even so Barksdale’s per minute #s are only behind Green I think.

Is there any way to check what the second chance points were? I felt like we were dominating the offensive boards.

The Wild Hokie Club!

The Hokies experienced their worst season since the ricky "program bomb" stokes era. Sure, it would have been easy to quit on you, but did we quit when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL NO!

And we do it for free! But, just like NPR, we rely on the generosity of our loyal fans to help keep this humble Hokie website alive. That being said, see how you can help make it to 10 years!

Jon King, Ben Floyd and Dan Rickenbach all got in on the action and we encourage all TechHoops heads to do the same.
