Heads Up

Just so you know, we won’t have highlights or +/- for the wvu game. We will have a recap as always. Cope will hold down the fort as always.

We likely will not have a preview (or a bare bones one) for miss valley state (Jerry Rice’s alma mater) on Monday. Highlights are 50/50 and we will have +/- for wvu and mvsu by Tuesday.

Just didn’t want you all to think, in case we lose, that we had shut down the bandwagon. I’m on travel. See you all next week.

Niemo is a member of the VT Class of '98. Attended every home basketball game during his 4 years at VT after missing the first home game. Has attended 122 straight VT football home games (every game since '94), eclipsing the 100 mark in September of '09. During the final home basketball game of his senior year, he was brought onto the court and was awarded 2 passes to the Atlantic 10 Basketball Tournament in Philly during a timeout. The Hokie Bird made the award on behalf of Athletic Director Jim Weaver. Niemo was known to be in the front row of every home game with his familiar red afro hairdo. Niemo currently lives in DC and speaks the Hokie gospel as often as possible. He watches over 50% of all ACC games, making him one of the most knowledgeable experts on ACC basketball.

    Where you at, Niemo? I’m down here in Mexico and didn’t see the game, but just about decided to break my iPhone when I saw we lost by 1 after being down 6 at half. Damnit. All good, though… time to see how these guys bounce back from a tough L.

    The Youtube account Hokietapes sometimes has the games posted. He has 7 games up so far. It’s not a highlight clip though. It’s the whole game without commercial interruption.
