- Named to the All-NCISAA 3A team (NC state private school team) his senior year.
- Nominated for the 2010 McDonald’s All-American games (1 of 36 from North Carolina nominated). Tyrone Garland, VT’s other signee in this class, was also nominated.
- MVP of the November 2009 Cannon Classic scoring 33 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in both games.
- Surpassed the 2,000 point mark in his Cannon School career on 2/17/09 (as a junior). Finished his career with over 2,500 career points.
- Could play inside, outside, or both for VT. Could end up at SG or SF.
- Can be a force inside and aggressively attacks the boards and rim.

- Averaged 25 ppg and 8 rpg as a junior.

- Team: Finished 16-14 and lost in the Second Round of the NCISAA State Tournament.
- 2/25 – Jarell Eddie saw his amazing high school career come to an end as Cannon fell to the #3 seed, Ravenscroft, 41-37 in the Second Round of the NCISAA State Tournament.
- 2/23 – Jarell scored 26 points in the First Round of the NCISAA State Tournament. This was his final home game and had to be emotional for Eddie. Cannon, the #6 seed, defeated Durham Academy, the #11 seed, by a 60-42 margin.
- 2/19 – Eddie played his final regular season home game and went out on a big note, scoring 24 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, blocking 4 shots, and dishing 3 assists. His brother, had 12 points and 11 rebounds.
- 2/16 – Jarell Eddie got back to his usual peak – surpassing the 20 point mark with 21 in a 78-70 win over Providence Day School.
- 2/11 – Eddie had a team high 15 points in a 52-43 loss to Charlotte Christian, one of the top teams in the state. It broke Eddie’s string of 9 straight 20+ point games.
- 2/9 – Jarell had a monster night with a season high 35 points, but Cannon was unable to carpe diem in a 75-67 loss to Charlotte Latin. This was the 9th straight game Jarell has surpassed the 20 point mark.
- 2/5 – Eddie chipped in 22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks in a 66-57 OT win over Charlotte Country Day.
- 2/4 – Cannon woodshedded Covenant Day 81-44 behind 22 points from Eddie.
- 1/29 – Eddie had another double-double, with 22 points and 13 rebounds as Cannon went to 3-1 in their league with a 63-43 win over Providence Day School.
- 1/26 – Cannon concluded their three game tour of schools with Charlotte in the name, losing 71-58 to Charlotte Christian. Jarell had 23 more points for the Cougars.
- 1/21 – Top the presses – Eddie surpasses 20 points again, tallying 23 points in a 68-54 win over Charlotte Latin.
- 1/19 – Scoring machine Jarell Eddie had 25 points for the Cougars in a 80-57 win over Charlotte Country Day.
- 1/18 – Jarell faced Norfolk Christian School and 2011 5-star unc commit James McAdoo. Eddie played well with 21 points but his Cannon School team got waxed 73-46.
- 1/15 – Eddie was hotter than the clientele at Sharkey’s, hitting 10 of 12 from the field and scoring 24 points in a 81-63 win over Kennedy Charter School. Jarell also grabbed 7 rebounds, blocked 4 shots, and had 3 assists.
- 1/12 – 10 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks in 58-54 loss to a state ranked Wesleyan Christian team (team is 7-9)
- 1/9 – 16 points (his bro, Jason, had 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks) – Cannon lost 99-61 to nationally ranked Christ School
- 1/8 – 16 points in 79-54 over Spartanburg Day
- 1/5 – 29 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks! Oh, what a night! Cannon wins 80-56 over Victory Christian.
- 12/30 – stat sheet stuffer – 26 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals, 3 assists to lead Cannon to a 78-52 win in the last game of the Bojangles Classic. Biscuits for everyone!
- 12/29 – 31 points and 12 rebounds but lost again to SC state champ Southside in the Bojangles Classic
- 12/28 – 12 points and 11 rebounds (bro had 11 points) in a loss to Harding University in the opener of the world famous Bojangles Classic
- 12/8 – 26 points and 8 rebounds in a 70-58 loss to Oak Ridge Military Academy
- 12/5 – 19 points in a 102-71 woodshed of Augusta Christian
- 12/4 – 14 points and 10 rebounds as Cannon lost to Greensboro Day 55-49
- 12/2 – 27 points and 14 boards but a 66-60 loss to Queens Grant HS
- 11/21 – 16 points versus the Mt. Zion “National” Team in the 3rd Place Game of the David Currie Classic
- 11/20 – 23 points against host Flora MacDonald Academy in the 2nd Round of the Davie Currie Classic. nc state commit Luke Cothron had 35 points for FMA.
- 11/19 – 17 points and 16 rebounds (wow!) in a buzzer-beating win (66-64) over Wesleyan Academy
- 11/14 – 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks to win the Cannon Classic over Mt. Zion “High School” Team. Eddie was named the Tournament MVP.
- 11/13 - 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks as Cannon won 100-72 over Northside Christian in the first round of the Cannon Classic
