2008 Recruiting News:

* Kendall Durant signed with VT but enrolled at weatherford community college in Texas.  He is no longer inked to VT and will be able to sign with a new school as part of the Class of 2010.  Durant is a point guard. (Durant Not Enrolling):

Other Notes:

• (7/12/07):  J.T. Thompson, previously considered a part of the 2008 class, has finished his requirements and will enter VT for the 2007-08 school year. 
• Shamarr Bowden and VT have “amicably parted ways” according to the Newport News Daily Press. Bowden plays for Miller High School in Charlottesville, right down the road from where I live. It appears that Bowden would not have received much PT.
